Repair vehicles in a safe, efficient, ethical manner with customer satisfaction as first priority. Must achieve/maintain ASE certification and manufacturer-required training/certification.
Read and understand customer complaints or requests; diagnose and advise properly & complete all authorized repairs in accordance with manufacturer and company policy.
Report additional work to Service Advisor and communicate directly with customers as requested by Service Manager.
Request and obtain required parts from the parts department. Return used parts to customer, parts department, factory or discard (as situation warrants). Dispose of all hazardous waste per OSHA guidelines.
Complete all on line and instruction led courses to achieve certification through I-CAR and manufacturers yearly.
Scan all vehicles and complete Quality inspection
Road test vehicles as needed to diagnose or verify completion of job.
Read technician service bulletins and utilize computer to remain up-to-date on manufacturer recalls and/or technical data.
