  • Overview

    The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the accurate processing of complex multi-site payroll, inclusive of adjustments to earnings, benefits, and taxes and assisting in the conversion of acquisitions to ADP system.

    Responsibilities

    1. Maintains highest degree of confidentiality.
    2. Enters or imports data into Payroll systems.
    3. Understand payroll regulations and ensure compliance.
    4. Process and submit payroll via ADP application.
    5. Review and audit payroll for accuracy prior to submitting.
    6. Monitor and Track Paid Time Off (PTO)
    7. Create custom reports in order to properly audit and track health and welfare benefit plans, including but not limited to Health Savings and 401k contributions, employer match, and discretionary contributions.
    8. Assist with projects related to payroll conversions or acquisitions.
    9. Acts as liaison between Payroll, internal partners and Third Parties as Subject Matter expert for payroll. 
    10. Responds to inquiries from employees and customers; both internal and external. 
    11. Manages documentation related to pay plans, unemployment claims and leave pay administration.
    12. Process billing as it relates to benefits

    Qualifications

    1. Customer centric mind set
    2. Must be flexible and adaptable in an ever-changing work environment. 
    3. Certified Payroll Professional desired but not required.
    4. Bachelors Degree and minimum of 2+ years of experience in payroll.
    5. Prior experience in maintaining company payroll.
    6. Knowledge of federal and state wage and tax laws and overtime requirements.
    7. Knowledge of payroll related benefits to include 401K contributions, HSA audits and census reporting.
    8. Proficiency with Microsoft office applications with experience using VLOOKUP’s in Excel for data validation.
    9. Prior experience processing payroll with ADP preferred.
    10. Excellent communication and customer service skills
